Kim Monk is our most experienced Veterinary Nurse and is our technician manager. Kim started working for SVVS when she was in high school. She began her work with us as a kennel care worker; and, because of her willingness to work hard and her openness to always learning new things, she was advanced to position of veterinary assistant. Kim continues to grow every day in her job.
Kim married her sweetheart, Jason, in 2003. They live in Spring City and share their home with dogs, Jim, Strange, and Wiley, all Australian Cattle Dogs, a cat, Timon, and two Tennessee Walking horses, Natural Magic and Cash My Way(Romeo). Kim and Jason love competing in the United Racking Horse and TWHBA accredited shows, but they are currently not showing. In their spare time, they enjoy playing golf and being involved in church activities.
