Southwest Virginia Veterinary Services is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. 


We have a staff of two Veterinarians, four Veterinary Nurses, six
Kennel Attendants, a Practice Manager, and a Client Service Specialist. 
Our staff's only purpose is to serve you and your pet.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures using both in-house testing as well as external laboratories. The facility also includes a well-stocked pharmacy, a state of the art surgery suite, an large x-ray unit, a closely supervised intensive care ward, an isolation and hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas as well as fenced-in play yard.

At Southwest Virginia Veterinary Services we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also caring and compassionate veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.
