Ruth Johnson is our Certified Pet Dog Trainer. Ruth offers Puppy Socialization classes as well as Basic Obedience classes. She also teaches basic agility classes. Her obedience and puppy classes are all held here at our veterinary office. Her agility classes are usually held off site. Classes fill up quite rapidly, so please call Ruth for her current schedule.
 
Puppy kindergarten is a socialization class and basic knowledge for owners.  This is often helpful to the first time "parent" or someone who hasn't had a puppy in a while.  We address most basic care including feeding, temperature taking, nail trimming, crate training and any other topics or questions you may have.  This is a 3 week course, held once weekly.  The cost is $45.00 per series.
 
The Canine Good Citizen Class is also held once weekly for 6 weeks.  This is a basic obedience course based off of the AKC's Good Citizen Test.  The cost of this class is $75.00 per series. 

The basic agility classes are by appointment only.
