No DescriptionKim Monk is one of our most experienced Veterinary Nurses and was recently appointed as our technican manager.  Kim started working for SVVS when she was in high school.  She began her work with us as a kennel care worker; and, because of her willingness to work hard and her openness to always learning new things, she was advanced to position of veterinary assistant after only a couple of years.  Kim continues to grow every day in her job.  Kim married her sweetheart, Jason, in 2003.  They live in Spring City and share their home with 2 dogs, Jim and Alfie, 3 cats, Timon, Edgar Allen and Murphy and two Tennessee Walking horses,  Natural Magic and Cash My Way.  Kim and Jason love to compete in the United Racking Horse and TWHBA accredited shows.

No DescriptionKristy Puckett is our newest Veterinary Nurse.  She started in August 2005 as a Kennel Attendant.  She has shown her diligence and dedication to the job and has risen to the Veterinary Nurse position in 2006.  She is a motivated and dependable person and excels at her tasks.  She lives in Lebanon, Virginia with her mom,Teresa, as well as her spoiled rotten cats, Maverick and Tex, and Pitbull, Gunnar.  She loves spending time with her family and friends..especially with her sister,  Amy, canine nephew, Bailey, and human nephew Logan. Kristy has a very busy, hectic, and crazy schedule but she would not trade it for the world.

Kim Dotson
has been part of the SVVS family since November 2001.  She started as a Kennel Attendant and is now a Veterinary Nurse with certification as a nursing assistant. She and her husband, Larry live in Hansonville, and are the proud grandparents of Alexis, Rachel, Tanner, Trevor, and two more on the way.  They have 5 children, Josh, Sara Beth, Eddie, Daian, and Heather.  Kim has a boxer, Chloe-Belle, and a Lhasa Apsa/Poodle, Miss Valentine, who was a stray her husband found on Valentine's Day and gave to her.
Kim has many duties as a Veterinary Nurse, she assists the veterinarian, draws blood, completes lab work, does x-rays, is a surgical assistant, and monitors and treats hospitalized patients.  Kim also has the additional resposibility for ordering supplies and keeping track of the inventory for the practice.  During all these tasks Kim finds time to love the animals and the people she meets.  She enjoys meeting and loving lots of dogs, which cures her desire to have 100's of different dogs of her own.
Kim says her plan for the future is to continue to do what she loves most, taking care of animals and spending as much time as possible with her family.  In this way she can instill into her grandchildren the love and respect she feels for animals.  Kim praises God that she can have the privelege to to what she loves to do and the honor to take care of God's creatures.
